Following the success of Ireland AM and an absence of live breakfast television on the weekends, the TV3 Group confirmed in June 2015, it would introduce a weekend slot to its TV3 schedule.〔http://www.her.ie/movies-tv/tv3-to-change-things-up-with-new-weekend-show/240194〕

The first show began at 09:00 on Sunday 30 August 2015.
